Regulations for Receipt of Prize:
1. The following rules and regulations (hereinafter, the "Rules and Regulations") govern your participation in the Broadcast Israel contest (hereinafter, "the Contest"), managed by StandWithUs.com, an international education organization located at P.O. Box 341069, Los Angeles, CA, 90034-1069 and its affiliates, employees, and student volunteers (hereinafter "StandWithUs" or "Contest Management").
2. The Rules and Regulations pertain to your eligibility receive a Prize through the Contest.
3. The Contest Management reserves the right to change the Rules and Regulations from time to time, at its sole discretion.
4. You will be provided with notice of any such change under Clause 3 through an announcement on the Contest homepage.
General Framework:
5. Complying with the Rules and Regulations is a binding condition for receipt of any Prize awarded by Contest Management in operating the Contest.
6. You may enter the Contest only by either:
a. Uploading your contest entry to the "You Tube" Web site, located at http://www.youtube.com, or
b. Submitting your contest entry through the Contest website, located at http://www.broadcastisrael.com.
7. In entering the Contest as above mentioned, and as a condition of eligibility to receive a Prize through this Contest, you agree to be bound to the Rules and Regulations.
8. As further acknowledgement of your agreement to be bound to the Rules and Regulations, you agree to sign a document which confirms reading and agreeing to the Rules and Regulations, as a condition of eligibility to receive a Prize through this Contest. Failure to sign such document will be considered
as a waiver of Prize entitlement. The Prize will then be awarded to a different contestant or to no contestant, as decided by the Contest Management.
Prize Eligibility:
9. Prize As used in the Rules and Regulations, the term "Prize" refers to any item of value awarded by the Contest Management to you or any other participant, during and in accordance to the operation of the Contest.
10. Unforeseen Events As used in the Rules and Regulations, the term "Unforeseen Event" refers to any event which will affect the ability of the Contest Management to award any Prize. The term "Unforeseen Event" as used in the Rules and Regulations may fall outside of any legal standard of foreseeability. Such an Unforeseen Event may include, but are not limited to, the following:
a. Failure to receive sufficient funding to purchase the Prize, and
b. Failure to receive sufficient donations to fund the purchase of the Prize, and
c. Any event outside of the control of the Contest Management that would preclude awarding any Prize.
d. Any other event that may occur.
11. The Contest is facilitated mainly from volunteer work and donations. Therefore, the Contest Management reserves the right to change, substitute, and/or cancel award of any Prize in the case of an Unforeseen Event.
12. Indemnification You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Contest Management, its employees, volunteer students, sponsors, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, actions, or demands, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees alleging or resulting from, without limitation, any of the following:
a. Your breach of the Rules and Regulations, or
b. The Contest Management's inability to provide any Prize, under Clauses 9 - 11.
Contest Management Liability:
13. Receipt of the Prize Should you be awarded any Prize that includes travel, an organized tour and/or experience that will necessitate, in its essence, increased caution on your part, Contest Management will not be liable for the your life, well-being, personal security, and/or damage resulting from use or acceptance of the Prize.
14. In addition to clause 13, in the case that the Prize will include a trip and/or travel to a foreign country (in as far as a non-Israeli participant is concerned, Israel will be considered a foreign country), your eligibility to receive the Prize is contingent on your presenting to Contest Management a certificate that proves the existence of extended medical insurance from a known insurance company in your country of origin, which insures you from the moment you leave the airport in your country of origin, and remaining in effect for the entire length of your stay in said foreign country, and continuing until the moment you return home, at the end of your trip.
15. Failure to comply with the conditions detailed in Clauses 13 - 14 will be considered a waiver of your right to receive a Prize.
Copyright regulations:
16. When you submit your contest entry to the Contest Website, you grant Contest Management a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, license with the right to sub-license, to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your contest entry in any manner, commercial or non-commercial, as Contest Management sees fit in order to promote Israel's image, in any way, as determined by Contest Management.
